About Me
I’m Elaine Astin, an experienced psychic medium based in Ferndown, Dorset. As a medium, my role is simple to describe. I connect you with loved ones who’ve passed, help you think through a crossroads in your life, and share whatever comes through that might bring you clarity. There’s nothing I take more seriously than using this properly and with care for people who need it.
As far back as I can remember, I had a sense of things other people around me didn’t. As a child, I liked to sit quietly in the dark and simply notice what came through. For years I set it aside and built a career in advice work instead, sitting with people from every part of the community, listening properly, helping them through real, practical problems.
That part of me never went quiet, though, and eventually the two came together. I’ve spent over twenty-five years on the committees of spiritualist churches, and I’m currently President of Ringwood Spiritual Connections. I’ve been both a student and a teacher along the way. I still am.
Most people come to me at a turning point, a relationship changing, a job that’s stopped feeling right, a grief that hasn’t lifted. With thirty years of experience behind me, I’m here to help you see it more clearly. Most of my in-person work happens in Dorset, but I also work with clients across the UK by phone and online.
What you can expect from me is honesty over comfort. I won’t tell you something reassuring just because it’s easier to hear, and I won’t promise you certainty about your future; nobody honestly can. I won’t stretch a session out past what it needs, either. What’s said between us stays between us. That’s not a script I follow; it’s simply how I was raised to treat people.
